A little something to remember...

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says,
"I will try again tomorrow."

this week

This week has been one of the most emotional weeks of my life, full of highs and lows.

Auditions this week have been less than stellar. This is the most frustrating part of doing what I do. Feeling like you're going into the room and doing your absolute best and being cut starts to wear away at a person's confidence.

My mother met her goal weight with Weight Watchers yesterday!! I'm so proud of her for sticking to this weight loss goal she set for herself! She has lost 40 pounds in the last several few months. When she came to visit me in LA, she looked AMAZING!

My stepdad's birthday was yesterday! Happy Birthday, Jim!!!!

My brother has been dealing with a less than wonderful management team at work. I can't believe some of the stuff that goes on within a company. It sometimes makes you wonder how businesses actually make money being so poorly managed.

After a very frustrating apartment search, I think I've found a place to live. That's a major relief for me! Apartment hunting is one of the hardest, most frustrating things for a New Yorker.

I'm in the middle of looking for a job/jobs. Also a very frustrating part of living in New York. Trying to find a day job that pays enough to survive on is such a struggle.

It's amazing how quickly things change in life. Sometimes the things that make us happiest can make us feel lost and so alone.

My friend Peyton's mom, Beth, has been diagnosed with cancer. I'm asking for prayers for her from anyone who believes in the power of prayer.

George Bush's Big Joke

"President Bush hailed Martin Luther King Jr. Monday as one of the greatest Americans who ever lived, but said more must be done to ensure that his dream of equality becomes a reality."

More must be done like removing you and your bigot cronies from office. Equality means equal rights for ALL people, and to my knowledge you still support banning gay marriage.

I'm happier now than I have been in a looooooong loooooooong time! Things have happened in New York that have brought a huge smile to my face.
