A little something to remember...

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says,
"I will try again tomorrow."

Well, I spent the day moving stuff from my apartment sublet to my new apartment. I'm moving in with my friend Jesse on the waaaaay upper west side of Manhattan. We've got a great apartment at 178th and Fort Washington Ave. Amazing view of the GWB from our rooftop. The movers come tomorrow to get all my things moved in.

I will FINALLY be able to play my piano again!

It's Liza with a Z, not Lisa with an S...

Finally this amazing television special is being re-aired and released on DVD! I got the soundtrack when I was in high school, and have made two trips to the Museum of Television and Radio in NYC to view it. That's one of the only places you can go to watch Liza at her best!

I suggest everyone tune in when it airs and/or buy the DVD. I promise you won't be disappointed!

gentlemen prefer blondes

I just got back from seeing the tour of 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'. I would disagree....I actually prefer brown hair. My good friend Charles is in the cast, so I went to visit him. He was incredible in the show....even while recovering from a back injury. He sprained his back last week, so I got to see his first show back onstage.

I had to travel through Atlantic City to see the show. Who knew this place was such a pit? I expected something a little closer to Vegas, but clearly, Atlantic City isn't at all like Vegas. It was sad to see busloads of people (most of whom looked like they couldn't afford to be gambling) flocking to this city to blow tons of money in the hopes of winning big. I figure if you've got the money to blow, it's alright, but I have a problem with the average Americans blowing their savings in casinos.

Stepping off my soapbox now.
