A little something to remember...

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says,
"I will try again tomorrow."

Shingles

And not the roof kind. The kind that feel like hot stabbing needles lodged into your dermis causing constant pain.

I've got them. A large patch on my left hip and a smaller patch on my left upper butt cheek. I started taking mega doses of Acyclovir. 800mg 5 times a day.

They use that same dose of the same medicine to treat genital herpes. I feel gross.

Why are you getting them?

too much stress lately!

Totally understandable. I've been there. Hope you're better soon!

Hope this wasn't misdiagnosed -- it was for me. I had EXACTLY the same symptoms and it was a nerve pull remedied by glute exercises, massage, etc.

I'm a runner, similar body type (not as stellar, but ....). If you "hiked" your hip, that might have done it.

But you probably know your body well.

I hope you feel better.
